Karen's Story

Since I left school I have lived in Auburn, Renton, and now in Ephrata. I have 4 kids (3 boys and one girl) and all are living close to me. So they can help me and or bug me whichever they choose. My husband (Dave) and I moved to Ephrata Washington after I retired in 2004, from Boeing Co., because we were going to enjoy all the things that Eastern Washington has to offer. d a beautiful Motorhome and did travel a lot. We fished, camped with friends and visited different places. Dave was diagnosed with what looked like Parkinson' in 2006, Dave passed away 2011. I am now a volunteer for Moses Lake Hospice and I enjoy it so very much. I visit clients and hope that my visits will keep them in good spirits. I have no regrets in my life. God has given me all I need, good friends, a great family and I want for nothing.

Sauerkraut almost finished canning. What a day Very rewarding.
