Karen's Story
Hey WHS Classmates!. This is so neat! It's fun to see where and what everyone is doing now.
My life is very different than that in high school. My faith in God & family have made me a totally different person.
Well, my life consists of the following. Graduated '80, married '81, gave birth to 3 great kids '82,'83 & '85. Was a stay at home mom until '90 when the youngest went to kindergarten. Worked at a CPA office for the tax season and found I was ready to get back into the work world as I had enough of ABC's & 123's with Mr. Rogers neighborhood. I started part-time with the Credit Union in May '91 and went full time in Dec with the idea of getting a little financial experience. I ended up staying 15 yrs and wound up with a whole lot of financial experience. Became bored with my "desk" job and decided it was time to try something different. 6 months working on my Real Estate License (what a nightmare). Finally finished the class and passed the ??? tests. Am currently working for Fredricksen Real Estate. Love it and it pays well. I am doing what I love to do best-work with people and gab. Just became a first time grandma (ouch-makes me sound old-but not!) and will be a grandma again in Oct. My first two children are married and having babies. Waiting for the son to follow suit in a couple years as he is waiting for his girlfriend to obtain her college degree. Life it really great right now. I love every minute of it. Jim and I are very happily married (to all of you who thought it wouldn't last - 28 yrs this month) and are looking forward to the future when we are able to start traveling. Love to have fun and make the most of it when I do. Life is too short to let pass by. So, until we meet again, HAVE FUN!!!!!!
