Karen's Story
I am now living in Indiana with my husband and 20 year old son Blaine. Our family suffered a horrible tragedy when we lost our 18 year old daughter Jordan in August of 2009. She was going to attend Ball State University to study Marine Biology. I miss her more every day and never imagined this would happen to my family. My husband and I work for the Sheriff's Department in our residing County and our son Blaine has a city job and is attending college this fall working towards a degree in Criminal Justice.
I have learned to take one day at a time, some are easier than others. Live your life to the fullest and never hesitate to tell others you love them. You never know when another chance may never come again.
