Karen Wolfe's Story
Life
Left Little Rock in 1964 after graduating. Attended USL in Lafayette, La. and then William & Mary, Williamsburg, Va. Did not graduate until many years later when I received a degree in interior design in New York.Did most of this work through correspondence while living overseas in Japan. Lived in the Orient for almost twenty years between Indonesia, Singapore and Japan with a stint in France while doing a design project. Worked for a Japanese company then began my own interior design/promotional event business in Kobe, Japan. Came back to the U.S. in 1991, took a job in New Braunfels, Texas to develop downtown area for three years. Reinstituted my design business later in Houston, married again same year. Moved to Kennebunk, Maine; was there for four 1/2 years. Have lived in six countries and eight states in the U.S.
Have two grown daughters, three granddaughters. Feel I have had at least five lives in this lifetime. Still doing interior design and have started an import business importing home accessories/gifts from all over the World.

I lost my oldest daughter, Tiffany, to doctor error last year 2007. We are doing the best we can. I take care of her little ones three times during the week. She left a 1 yr., 4 yr and 15 yr old. It has been almost one year and life does go on. We are busy working on "The Grateful Stone" (a new business utilizing natural and gemstones as items to remind people to be grateful for all they have. We are also working on establishing a foundation in Tiff's honor to help fund the study of the Strep and Staph bacteria. Remember to be grateful and tell everyone in your life how much they mean to you.'''
