Life
My Spouse
Our first initial meeting was at a play at the high school he was attending. I was there with my then boyfriend and he introduced me to several of his friends including my future husband. Who knew? My husband and I have now been married for over 52 years and are still hanging in there.

My Kids
MY son graduated from GCHS. He attended Aims and CSU and eventually moved to Denver. He and his wife have given my husband and I two beautiful granddaughters. They're both teenagers now. The oldest is graduating this year and plans to attend Creighton U. The youngest is getting taller all the time. We don't get to see them nearly as often as we'd like; the traffic in and around Denver is horrible and it's a 1 1/2 hour drive each way. But we try.
My daughter graduated from GCHS. She went to CSU but transferred to UNC her soph. year. She graduated with two degrees. She has been teaching for 17 years and in a few weeks wil...Expand for more
l receive her Masters Degree. She is married and shares a lovely home with her husband and their wonderful little boy. I retired at the end of 2014 to stay at home to be his caregiver. That precious little fella is my light and joy.
My entire family is my life and my Blessing!
My Job
I've loved working with children most of my adult life. I was a childcare provider for 20 years and then worked in the school district with special needs students for another 18. I was blessed to watch my grandson for 5 years. We still get to spend time with him about once a week.
My Interests
I love spending time with my family, my Christian faith, surfing the net, reading, keeping up with daily life, supporting my Grandchildren in their various activities, playing pc games; going fishing with hubby; except I don't fish, paper crafting and this and that. At this point I would like to get in a whole lot better shape, lose more than several pounds and get healthy.
