Karen's Story
It's been a fun ride since high school. Met so many great people there and had a fantastic four years. Sad to leave. I went to Bucknell and got a degree in Economics and Japanese, studied in Japan for a bit and went to work on Wall Street after that. Spent some time in London on a Japanese arbitrage desk. Loved London but HATED Wall Street. Not my thing.Too much math!! Daily News, where I lived 1,000 lives. Covered everything from drug land execution-style shootings to the O.J. Simpson trial. After covering crime and scandal of the day, started to work at the gossip column there -- which I LOVED. Went to PEOPLE magazine to cover celebs, where I still work. Love it there. Along the way I wrote a book with Randy Jackson and want to write a bunch of juicy novels next. Have two great kids and a fantastic husband...life hasn't always been easy but is still good!
