Karen's Story
Life
I married in 1978. Have two great daughters Tori (born in 1980)who lives in Abilene and Katrina (born in 1981) who lives in Arlington. I divorced in 1987. Raised my daughters, lived in Waco, Corpus Christi and settled in Abilene in 1995. Married in November of 2006 to Kevin Hines. he has 3 children (2 live here in Abilene). So, family is still a big priority.
Workplace
I am the General Manager for GAP Broadcasting in Abilene. We have six radio stations so I keep extremely busy. I have been at these stations for 8 years and became the GM over a year ago. It's a very interesting job, never boring. I also am on the board for Big Brothers Big Sisters and Junior Achievement. Both great organizations.
