Karen's Story
At Rancho, I was an orchestra "geek", playing violin all four years and practically living in the Biology department (LOVED Mr. Bonner's classes!) After graduating, I went to college and studied Biology and Music. Nerds are finally in...30 years too late!
I met my wonderful husband at Pacific Christian College (we will celebrate our 32th anniversary in 2011). Our first date was "Animal House" if that tells you anything about us; he's my ideal guy... a "John Belushi" type!
We have one gorgeous, talented, perfect daughter (who's proud??) who is 28 and a talented musician and vocalist. She even has a recurring role on a monthly podcas...Expand for more

In 2007, I retired from the daily grind as a Human Resources Manager and now enjoy the life of a Domestic Goddess and stable hand. Horses are still my indulgence and passion; I currently own a huge percheron mare, "Lena" which I keep at our home in North OC and I run a small boarding and training stable here.
We are fortunate to have owned our own national PEO business for over eight years which caters specifically to the construction and roofing industries. We love cruising, traveling, music, dancing and having dinner out with friends.
