g to use raising our children, as well as being a teacher's aide in a Special Education class for several years while our children were in elementary school. George got his degree from Fresno State in business and accounting, and was in the National Guard for the first 5 years of our marriage. George and I didn't know each other at school, even though I knew (and dated) some of his friends. We were both fairly shy and didn't socialize much or participate in many of the school activities (I was in choir under Sam Barkman as my only school activity). We met in February of '66 - he worked at the old McMillans market on Blackstone and Shaw, and I worked at Casner Drug store, next door, and a mutual friend introduced us. The rest, as they say, is history. We manage to keep in touch with a few old friends from McLane and Hoover, though we haven't attended most of the reunions, just one each of his '63 and my '65 class. They always seemed to come at a time when we aren't able to attend. even though we would have loved to see many of you! We would love to hear from any of you who remember us.
