Karen's Story
Hello to anyone who can remember me... I have a hard enough time remembering me...
I married Damon Lesbines in 1968 and we got divorced in 1971. We remained distant friends, and when he was dieing of cancer last year we talked. He was one of the sweetest people I have ever known.
When I left Damon I moved to San Francisco and lived with Linda Wilson for a while. Went to the Ali Akbar College of Music for a few years and studied tabla and vocals.
Eventually I got into the est Training and worked there for 10 years, managing the Philadelphia and New Jersey area centers. I lead seminars for them also. I met my 2nd husband while there, Willie Dempsey.
Willie and I had 2 children. He died of cancer in 1998 when our children were 10 and 13. I didn't expect to be a widow so young, but life takes it's own turns. My son is now 20 a...Expand for more
nd a sophomore at BU School of Management in the dual degree program for Philosophy and Business and my daughter is an American Sign Language interpreter and completing her undergraduate degree in Florida.
I live in Jackson, NJ with my dog and cat and own my own business which I'd had for 10 years. I have never lost my passion for education and philosophy and it seems to have rubbed off onto my children. I have turned out to be a well behaved little beastie with a wicked sense of humor. I find pleasure in living each day, working and watching the sun move around. You could say I'm enlightened, but then, what does that really mean to you?
