Karen's Story
Moved to Pittsburgh and attended PITT, graduated in 1993. Moved to Philadelphia in 1994 to attend grad school. Completed a Master's degree in 1996 and a PhD in 2001. I had a postdoctoral training fellowship in neurodegenerative disease research in the School of Medicine at PENN from 2002-2004 (YAWN, yeah I know.) PENN in 2004. I love my job.
I got married in 2003 to a man I met 100 times but never remember meeting him until 1999. He was a fraternity brother of the guy I dated senior year of high school (Sei Yun, what ever happened to him?) It's actually an even smaller world, but I won't bore you.
I live in Philadelphia with my husband, my two kids, a dog, a cat, and lots of dust bunnies.
