Life
Hello,
Can't believe it has nearly been 40 years since we graduated. Alas, when I look in the mirror I know it has been at least a few years.
I graduated from Union College with a BSN in 1973. I then went to Loma Linda Universtidy Graduate School and graduated with an MSN in 1977.
I since have become an OB/GYN nurse practitioner and have worked in many cities in California.
Loma Linda, Whittier, Orange, Modesto, Sonora, Stockton, Fresno and finally, Sacramento.
I am currently working for Kaiser Permanente in the South Sacramento OB/GYN department.
I have chosen to not marry...Expand for more
nor to have children. Thank god!
Anyway, I have been a road cycling fanatic since about 1976 and last year was my best year ever. I cycled over 7900 miles and completed 12 centuries. If you are not a cycling nut then let me explain, a century in cycling lingo is 100 miles in one day. Some of my centuries made me climb over 10000 in the 100 miles. I wasn't fast but I did finish.
This year I am taking it easier and just cycling for fun. No long rides with a lot of pain and glorious suffering.
