Karen's Story

After graduation, I attended U of M and received my bachelor's in mechanical engineering in 1990. Worked for Great Lakes Steel for 4-1/2 years, until I got laid off in 1995. 2010 and love it there! I've been married for 20 years (wow!) and live in Maybee, MI (in Monroe County). We own ~125 acres and my husband, Bill, farms, as well as having a "day job". We have two children: Nick is 16 and Kaitlyn is 11. Nick is a swimmer and Kaitlyn is a gymnast. Their meets keep us busy!
