Second Life I am remarried now, my newest last name is Wanders. After nine years with my first husband and the events of 9/11, I realized I wanted more out of a marriage than what I had. I met my new husband, Steve, online and we have been married almost five years now. He is everything I would have never expected and more. We travel a lot and he is an avid fisherman. Most weekends, you would find us out on Lake Michigan salmon fishing. We have our own boat and we take it to Canada every year for walleye and pike fishing (and sometimes a few Muskie!). We also enjoy traveling to Mexico and visiting friends (and more fishing!) on the East coast. I have three wonderful kids from my first marriage-Rick Jr. (12 yrs.), Karly (10) and Max (7). With Steve, I also gained two stepsons-Eric (19) and Cody (15). We have quite the age range here-one summer, we had Eric start driving and Max graduating from diapers! We also have our own "baby"-Otis, our two year old Boxer. I am currently "between jobs". For the past four years, I had been a realtor with Baird & Warner (Wheaton). But, with the economy and housing market, I put my license temporarily into holding. I am open to trying something different, so we'll see what happens. College I went to NIU for both my Bachelor's and Master's in Sociology. I will always remember the people I met, the eccentric professors and just the spirit of the university.
