Karen Ostrander:  

Karen is from Beach Park, Illinois. Her schools include Waukegan High School. She works(ed) at Retired. Music Karen likes includes Lee Greenwood, 50's and 60's. I grew up in Beach Park, Illinois and went to school in the Beach Park School District, as did all my brothers and sisters. I'm 3rd oldest, (1st girl), my older brother is Dennis Ostrander, who was a Waukegan Fire Fighter, then transferred to El Paso, Texas and was a Fire Fighter, then Safety Inspector at the Fort Bliss, Army Base and White Sands Missile Range. Michael is the second oldest, then me, Gail, Jimmy & Janet (twins), Jack & Jill (also twins), and finally my brother Carl. Harry & I were married July 22, 1967, and he was drafted and had to report in September 1967. He went to Vietnam in March of 1968 - March 1969, was a APC Track Commander, and also the 50 caliper machine gunner for the track.
