Karen's Story

After graduation, took LPN training at Leigh Memorial Hospital and graduated in 1971. Had a wonderful career in nursing. Worked at Leigh in ICU for one year and then moved on to work for a general practitioner for 9 years. After that worked at St Mary;s home for Disabled Children for 25 years and finished up my career at CHKD in Gastroentrology for 7 years as a clinical supervisor before retiring in 2...Expand for more
014. I have two beautiful children frrom my first marriage. (1972) Remarried in 1985 and have been happily married for 34 years. My husband and I have been doing a lot of traveling and enjoying our 8 grandchildren. Graduation from Kellam doesn't seem that long ago , although I know it is. I had some really good times in high school and made some good friends. I will always treasure those memories.
