Karen's Story
Hello, My name is Karen. I went to St. Isidores School for 8 years and then to Riverhead High. I married my teen - age years sweetheart Clayton Conklin in 1979. I had my first daughter, Jennie, in 1980. My second daughter, Rachel, in 1982. My first son Clayton Jr., in 1984 and my second son, Kyle, in 1985. Giving birth to these four beautiful children was the best thing that ever happened to me. Sadly their father and I got a divorce in 2006 after 27 years of marriage. It was not my choice but his to end the marriage. We also have 6 grandchildren. I am now married to a wonderful man, Tim. He has 2 children, Nicole and Robert and a beautiful granddaughter, Natalya. field for about 10 years but now I am a housewife and enjoy traveling with my wonderful husband. At home I have 2 horses, 2 dogs, 3 cats, chickens and ducks. I enjoy being outside and have a big garden. I enjoy being in my greenhouse and planting flower beds or anything to do with landscaping. I enjoy 4-wheeling with friends and just enjoying the beauty of what the LORD has given us!! I've lived in New York, Maine, Ohio and West Virginia. Thats my story...What are you into now? Sadly that wonderful man didn't turn out to be that wonderful but very controlling 7 years into it. But GOD is the only faithful one in my life n I am a stronger woman for it all with 9 wonderful grandchildren !!
