Karen's Story
Life
Living happily in the middle of Los Angeles with my husband and young son. I'm staying at home with my son, dabbling in various aspects of art, particularly oil painting. We hope to eventually move "back East," even if only as far as Texas.

After graduate school in Texas, I moved to Dallas to work for a large market research firm (working on chips and cigarette...Expand for more
s, among other things.) Then, on to Los Angeles to work for ad agency Ogilvy & Mather, followed by DIRECTV shortly after their launch. In 1995, back to my roots in Advertising, at Grey Advertising. After that, I worked for a number of years as a consultant to the ad industry. Self-employment was just fantastic and the internet arena was my bread and butter. However, I happily traded in that hat a couple of years ago to stay home with my son (born in 2005) and a daughter due in early 2008.
