Karen's Story
Looks like our high school reunion is happening soon. I hope that I can go. I missed the 20th year by a few weeks.
I still think about Whittier and my sister still lives there. Seems like everything changes, even Rubi's Foster Freeze. They have a picture posted of the original place and my mom and grandmother are in it. I recognize the cow hide purse.
Have had to slow down a bit. Otherwise I am doing very well. I have a sense of ...Expand for more
humor. I still drive blue cars. Miss that Karman-Ghia. but the Acura TL Sport is real nice. Have cars changed or what? I bet that Ghia is a gold mine now. Especially with the gas prices.
My favorite memory was putting 50 cents of gas in the car with a friends credit card and the gas station attendent getting P'O'd. That gas lasted a week of driving.
