Karen's Story
Hi -
After I graduated from Federal Way High School in 1963 I went to University of Puget Sound for a year and then transferred to WSU for another year.
My family moved to Portland Oregon and I went to work there where I met my husband.
We lived in Oregon for about 2 years and Hawaii for 6 months and then moved to Seattle.
I have 3 sons and three grandchildren, two being girls and one a boy.
After I moved to Seattle I went to work for a bank and started at an entry level job and when I left my banking career in 1999 I managed to become an SVP and the manger of their Retail Product Mgmt Group. spending lots of time working on the house have lived in for about 38 years.
I have a second home at Priest Lake Idaho which I really love. I love the forest, the air and just the serenity. While sometimes I think it would be nice to live there - it is a 180 mile round trip to Costco and that just cannot work on a permanent basis. hahahaha.
January 12, 2008 my husband passed away so I am trying to find my new path.
I look forward to reconnecting with past friends and making new ones.
When I signed up for Classmates and posted the above information, little did I know that Monte Naff and I would reconnect. In fact, we were married on June 20, 2009. I have since moved to his house in Nine Mile Falls, Wa which is right outside of Spokane.
We are both looking forward to a good many fun years ahead of us, including our 50th high school reunion.
