Karen's Story

Life Since graduating from SSHS, I completed my BA at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. I moved back home to Canada in 1979. I married Chris Dant in 1987 and we have a son by the name of Thomas. Thomas was born on April 26,1991. As of November 2006 I started a new job. I am the new Accounting Supervisor for Macdonald Youth Services. My husband is an account excutive with the Manitoba Moose Hockey team of the AHL. We actually met working at the Winnipeg Arena during the time when there was an NHL team here in Winnipeg. I belong to a community choir as well as singing in...Expand for more
the church choir. I am still a member of Girl Guides ( Girl Scouts in the US) and also a member of AAA HOckey Council. I spend alot of time in hockey arenas. I have kept my maiden name, mainly because I'm a very stubborn Scot. So if anyone is ever up Winnipeg way look us up. Both Chris and I are listed in the phone book. update : My husband Chris works for the returned NHL Winnipeg Jets. I am now the Manager of Accounting and payroll for Macdonald Youth Services. Our 21 year old son Thomas is currently attending the Univeristy of Winnipeg and is still playing hockey.
