Karen's Story
LIFE
*I am living in Yreka, CA, Siskiyou County, close to the Oregon border. My wife Linda, life-partner of 29 years, and I are busy tending to our "Windance.Ranch", watering fruit trees, blueberries and grapes, and summer-winter vegetables and herbs.

Memo Feb. 2016/
Mom passed on to her new life on Feb. 16, 2016, at age 105 yrs.. She was an amazingly independent woman, and a great mom and friend. This is a tough one and I miss her every minute! Care giving an aging parent was hard for 3+ years but was glad to have had the time with her to help her. She's still here with me, but just "in the next room around the corner", doin' her own thing, walking and living HER LIFE without restrictions! Go Momz!

Memo: May 2021/I am thankful I have the energy and good health to enjoy our life on our 14 acres, with two-cats-in-the-yard, Mount Shasta views, open spaces, and no crowds.

(Quin the mighty one) is beautiful, feisty, talkative, and sweet. She keeps us smiling and alert.
*Also our 12yr old rescue pup, a female Rhodesian-Black Lab mix named Poppy, is sweet, obedient, trusting and loves her belly rubbed, and seems content living at her furrever-home with her two mommies and Quin to play with. We're so glad to have her here with us! **
Memo December 2021/Poppy Red Dog passed away today Dec.19th at home with us. I loved you Poppy; you brought me so many smiles-I will forever miss you sitting on the deck in the sunshine and rain with
me. Dig Poppy Girl Dig!❤️
Memo: January 2024/ I said good bye to my 11yr Tutu Kitty, Dec 13, 2023. She was a sweet wonderful sit-on-my-lap kitty, and I miss her dearly. Totally unexpected bladder cancer was a hit to my heart.
Her sister SmokiBlue is still here and adjusting better each day. Pictures of Tu posted.😻 ♥️
