Kari's Story
I've never filled this in, as I can't see how you can cram 37 years into a little box. Let's see if I can do barebones:
1971-graduated, began at UW the week after. Was going with Jim Slinker at the time. We became Christians.
72- We got married
73- I moved to Germany, where he was stationed in the Army. Lots of traveling.
76- Jim got out and started at Biola U
78- first daughter born, 82- second
85- After Jim finis...Expand for more
hed grad school and we got up support, we moved to Mexicali,Mexico under YUGO Ministries.
90- another daughter, 93- a son
95- moved to Tijuana to help start a church and Jim to help start Bible school
99-moved back to WA... by 2008, have 2 grandkids; Jim works with Young Life; I now work at Life Options; third daughter is high school senior; son in middle school. Life is crazy but good.
God is so full of surprises!
