Kim and Kari's Story
Howdy,
We're Kim an' Kari Baker, the Twin Wranglers, an' this is our story.
After graduating from Oviedo High School in 1973, we pretty much just horsed around for the next 15 years. Right out of high school we started breeding and showing Appaloosa horses, and also owned an' operated a horse boarding stable. Along with all this we additionally managed a small pet care business out of our home.
In 1988 we slipped our sand laden hobbles, an' moved back to the northwest corner of our home state, of Montana, where we now run a small Appaloosa horse an' grass fed cow outfit.
At this point, with no real income besides selling a horse now an' again, our pockets were emptier ¿n a water barrel with a hole in it, so we decided to pick up our 35 mm cameras an' began shootin' horses.

e do it together, thus started freelancing for equine publications such as Horse Illustrated, Equine Athlete, Horses USA, and The Horse and are often asked to offer our photographic services at horse shows. Eventually our published photos led us to writing articles for the magazines as well.
With all the photos that we have in our stock files we felt there should be something more that we could do with them, so using our computers we began manipulating the images to create artistic designs for t-shirts an' such, which we make an' sell from our website under the name of mirrorkbranch.
Reckon that's enough to catch you up on where our trails have led us since high school. If you want to know more then throw us a loop via email or visit our website which is listed above.
