I do two things now that I said I wouldn't do when I was 18. One was to drink coffee and the other play golf. I now have a mocha on the way to play 18. Did I also say 'Yell at my kids'? I have always enjoyed being competitive, usually with some kind of ball involved. There was basketball, then baseball, volleyball, softball, bowling, tennis and since I can't move like I used to there's golf and watching high school football. I became a DMD for a living but have put in many an hour building things. At one time I owned a small dump truck and a backhoe- used while building a commercial building that houses my dental practice. I live in Oregon City, Oregon and enjoy it for the most part. My family now lives in a log house on five acres with a little stream that runs through the property. The summers are really nice but the rainy winters can be long and dreary. The weather is one thing I miss about SoCal .....and the beaches. I've been to every state west of the Mississippi yet have not made it to the East Coast. My kids have been to Europe and the East Coast twice- go figure. I don't think I've changed much in my World View over the years and remain a little goofy and philosophical.
