Karie's Story
Although I married late in life, at the age of 34, I have found my soul mate! Chris and I married in 2001 - both of us career driven, decided not to have children. The dicision seemed natural for both of us in that we felt more comfortable being there for our friends and family who do have kids. We both enjoy the time we spend with our friends / family and their children very much. We have a cat named Checkers - she is an indoor cat... milies passion around the dirt track racing - we still make our way all over the country to watch a good race! I guess you can say its in my blood ; ) You can catch up to me any given wknd in the summer at the race track or the lake (sometimes both) and in the winter - you know it... at a hockey game (or 2 or 3). My career as an educator has taken me through to designing the curriculum for Blue Cross Blue Shield (14 years) - for me this line of work has been incredibly intreging and very gratifying... always learning new ways to educate!
