Karin's Story
I married my husband in 1995 after returning from a year working as a volunteer teacher in South Africa. I worked in high tech in human resources for a few years but decided the business world was not for me. I then began graduate school. After completing my classes in 2005, I moved to the Portland, Oregon area with my husband, two young sons, and 3 cats. We hope to adopt a baby girl from Ethiopia later t...Expand for more
his year. We enjoy being so close to the Oregon wine country and the many great restaurants in Portland.
I'm working on my dissertation and hope to be done with my degree in clinical psychology by the end of 2008 (it's been a long haul, having two kids along the way!). I plan to specialize in working with women with pregnancy-related challenges, adults with Asperger's, and those with anxiety disorders.
