Karin Richter:  

After graduation I moved to Southern California and worked as a bookkeeper at a bank and modeled part time. In 1961 I met my husband, Harry, and got married 4 month later. We had 2 sons. Mark, our oldest, lives in Texas with his family and had two boys and two girls. The oldest just graduated from Long Beach State with a degree in Economics. The youngest is a girl 3 1/2 years old. And yes, we are still married and happy for over 48 years. Our other son, Thomas, died in 2008 from Lou Gergig (ALS). This was one of the hardest things we have ever had to face. We had wonderful moments with him and he was so brave and never complained. He was an inspiration to others. We sure miss him a lot. I was a stay at home mom and enjoyed all kinds of crafts and being involved with all my boys activities. I was active in Little League, Cub Scouts, and PTA. I actually got the Honorary PTA Award. I also was very active in our church with choir, building programs, and always seem to be the treasurer.
