Karl's Story
Life
After high school, I joined the Navy and played guitar. I married my high school sweetheart and had two daughters with her. I currently live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, outside of Ocean City, with my wife, Cheryl and three children, Samantha (19), Erik (16) and Morgan (14). My in-laws also live with us because my father-in-law has Alzheimer's. I met my wife and moved to Ohio briefly to marry her, but moved back to Ocean City because it is a great place to raise kids. College
I went back to college in 1990 at the University of Mass. Amherst and got a degree in Turf Management, graduated in the top 3 in my class.
Workplace
I've been in the golf industry for 20 years now. I worked at Cranwell resort, for a while. I have worked at various golf courses in the Ocean City, Maryland area. I have also worked for Toro and the Cincinnati Zoo for a while. I currently work at Bear Trap Dunes Golf Course in Delaware as the shop manager for the golf course.
