Karl's Story
Life
I left Guilford High in '78 and went to the Hammonassit School, which deserved its reputation as a place filled with drugs. Dropped out the following year. But, got a GED in 1980. Worked various and sundry jobs in restaurants, and factories, including Morroso, and AM Bruning. Started a punk rock record label and released four albums and two singles. Went to SCSU, studied computer science. Got married while I was there. Left, went to work as a programmer, which I am still doing today...Expand for more
. Have two children. Got divorced, nasty experience, I donÂt recommend it. Got remarried, got custody.
Now I work as software engineer, making gobs of cash, live in a big house and still drink too much. (No surprise there). Life takes some strange turns and while the adventures of my youth were often reckless, or downright stupid, I wouldn't change a thing.
Of course, being a father of a fourteen year old daughter puts me in the role of saying, "dont do that" more often than I'd like.
