Karla's Story
Life
After graduating, I got married, had three children (two are still alive); moved around the US with my military husband; moved to England for 4-years; started working for the DoD in 1992; returned to US in 1996; finished college in 1998; finished Masters degree in 2004. Relocated to Tampa FL from CO in 2003 after my younger sister was killed in Tampa FL - very sad period. Promoted to new position within DoD - relocated to Washington DC May 2007. College
Attended undergraduate schools in NC, CO, and online. Completed Bachelors of Science in Business & Management in 1998 from the University of Maryland; Completed Masters of Science in Management (HRM) from the University of Maryland in 2004.
Workplace
My work life has progressed from being a bank teller, customer service representative, and brokers assistance, to my current occupation of government auditor. Currently, I am a supervisory auditor at Eglin AFB FL.
