Karol/Penny's Story
Hi I am Penny Page/Karol Sohn-Miller
I graduated in 68, started college at Mt. Sac. but I interrupted that in 1970 to get married. John and I traveled all over the world for seven wonderful years. We then moved from LA to Carson City Nevada. We settled here to start our family. In 1979 we had our daughter Windy. Unfortunately we lost John to an accident in 1980. I went back to school and got my degree in Nursing. I have worked for 20 years as an RN at St. Marys Regional Medical Center in Reno. I remarried in 1985 and had ...Expand for more
another daughter in 1989 Paige. I found that my second husband and I weren't really compatable so we seperated in 2003. I am now disabled/retired but still very busy here at home. I was diagnosed with Lou Gehrigs/ALS in 2001. I am doing very well only a few minor glitches. I am a happy mother of two wonderful girls. I do miss living by the Ocean, so much so that we girls go for an ocean fix every six months or sooner. I have also instilled the wonderlust for travel in my girls. So we will go anywhere we can whenever we can.
