Karrie's Story

Life Hello everyone- class of "89!! It is so great to see all of these names and faces again. Well, for myself life was going wonderful up until this last August '05. I lost my husband in a terrible car accident. I have three beautiful children-we will all miss him very much. We were married 11 years. I currently live in Rocklin. I was teaching for about 8 years at a Montessori school. Now, I have an in-home daycare so I can work and be home with my kids at the same time. Time has just flown by-I am starting to feel very old, I am sure I am not the only one(Ha ha ha) I would love to hear from friends from our ole' high school. Hope everyone is doing well and life has treated you good. Take care, Karrie Hopkinson(Phillips...Expand for more
) School School memories- Ha ha ha ha there are so many!!!! Well for me high school was pretty awesome. Except having my sister a senior when I was a freshman. I pushed a few pennies. I look back and now realize how many awesome teachers there were and how much crap they had to put up with. My funniest and most memorable times was when I TA for Mr. Rycraft (biology) Even though he may have had a few skincare problems -he was the nicest and the most giving man I have ever met. He let me show up late , leave early, and was so intellegent. If we only had taken the time to soak in all that info that he rambled on about-we would of gained that much more. But no- we constantly pranked , teased and drove the poor man nuts.
