Karrie's Story
Life
I got married early in life, at 19 to a guy from Vidor. We were married for 11 years and divorced. Then I met Rick in Beaumont and fell in love with his car, it's a joke between us. 1995 Convertible Trans Am. Such a pretty car. But was falling very hard for him. We married in Beaumont, Texas on May 11, 1999 and then married with the big ceremony in Los Angeles, California on July 4, 1999. Life is really good. We had Nicholas Chase on August 12, 2004. All is well and extremely happy. Before the baby I was traveling with Rick while he traveled for work, after the baby....well..what is traveling? We live in Lake in the Hills, Illinois, about an hour from Chicago and we haven't really made up our minds if we like ...Expand for more
it here are not. There are 4 seasons here, not like Texas. I will say that during winter I really miss Texas!
School
I started Evadale ISD in 1973 and my family moved to Newton in 1984. This move broke my heart so much but then after awhile in Newton I realized it was the greatest thing that could have ever happened to me.
College
I went to Lamar Institute of Technology for Office Administration.
Workplace
I worked for a Social Worker as her office manager for 4 years while I was going to Lamar for Office Administration. Then I worked for Lamar University and my last job was at Provost Umphrey Law Firm as a Legal Assistant. Then I hurt my back really bad and had surgery. Now I'm a full time mommy and very very happy.
