Kasandra's Story

Life It's 2005 and I'm still married. Rob and I are doing well here in Altus Oklahoma. I thought the Air Force really hated us because they extended our assignment here for 2 more years. Rob pinned on Lt. Col. 1 June and it made living in the Armpit of America a little brighter. I am still a stay at home mom but I do donate my time to a battered womens shelter, a pet adoption agency, the local school, and Officer Spouses Club. I will have to get a job here eventually if I want to go to Berlin in 2006. I have to say the the lure of being a nurse has faded. (There are a lot of sick people out there and they whine A LOT.) However, the pay is good and occassionally you get a really good looking patient. Our son William is now 7 years old and in the second grade. He is a good student but likes the role of class clown. s frat house humour. He's already started crushing juice boxes on his head and can chug quite a lot of kool-aid. His Dad and I are proud! He also competes in men's gymnastics and finish 10th over-all for his age group this year. I don't see gold medals in his future but if he can get a college scholarship out of it I'm all over it. We have rescued 2 rabbits from our local shelter. Our oldest at 3 is a 7 pound dutch we(I) named Stew. Our other is is a 2 year old french lop weighing in at 11 pounds. Her name in honey because the family wouldn't let me name her rump roast. They actually turned out to be great pets. We have litterboxed trained them and they run around the house like a dog. Honey suns herself every morning in front of the storm door and Stew has been known to attack the maintaince guys if he catches them in the house. So that's it right now for my simple life. Husband, kid, and pets.
