Kate's Story
Life
John and I have been married 32 years! We have 3 children. Gia is 31 and she and her husband Michael are doctors in Miami, FL. We all love to visit them there. John is 29 and lives in San Antonio with his girlfriend and her 3 children. He has his Master's in Business and started his own business. He just bought the Ducati motorcycle dealership. AJ is 26, finsihed his Master's in Business last year, and is a restaurant manager on the Riverwalk- following his dad's love of the food business. John is still in club management and I am working in the pediatric intensive care unit as an RN at University Hospital. It is a dream job for me- fulfilled all my dreams about being a nurse. brother John lives in Albuquerque, NM and my sisters, Julie and Missy, are happy and well. They live in New Mexico and Michigan, respectively. My dad died 2 years ago- such a good man! My mom is doing well considering she lost her best friend of 60 years. We have been blessed with wonderful family, good health and great friends. We love it in San Antonio- the weather is great, there is lots to do outside (we like biking and kayaking) and our kids live close by. Made it to South Africa- it was so much more than I expected. I had a wonderful time and got to ride an elephant, white water kayak ( I was the oldest on the trip!) and go on a walking safari. Now we are off to Italy next month -
