Well, it's been quite a journey! Happy to say that after it all, I am blessed with good health, great love, close family, incredible friends, peace of mind and calm spirit. I have a job that I love- (for 3-12 hour shifts a week)- and that affords me to live comfortably...not extravagent, by any means, but we have what we need; for that I am truly grateful. I left A2 shortly after graduation for a brief stint in NC- after standing out like a sore thumb amongst racism and sexism, I ran back here as fast as I could!! Got caught in the restaurant/bar biz for many, many years whilst I was in and out of college, in and out of my mind, in and out of trouble, and in and out of a couple long-term relationships. One such relationship gave me two beautiful sons, and not much else (though the boys were worth it,) and the second, which lead an old high school friend and me to marriage.
