I graduated from Bonita High after the summer of my junior year. I attended Mt. Sac for one year. I absolutely loved my classes there. Then I headed up to Chico State. I lived in the dorm for a year then rented a room in a big house with a bunch of girls from the dorm. I went to Univ. of New Hampshire in 1975 thru a program at Chico State. I loved the east coast and go back every once in a while. I returned to Chico, decided to get a teaching credential and did my student teaching at Waimea High on Kauai. (My grandmother taught there in the 1920's and my grandfather was born and lived on Kauai). I lived on Kauai until 1980 then reluctantly moved to Houston, TX. (boyfriend stuff) We moved back to Kauai and later to Austin, TX which I loved. By 1985 we moved to San Diego. I was nice to be near family again.
