Katharine's Story
Life
I was working for a local Assemblyman as a field representative for Sacramento, El Dorado, and Amador County.My old job brought me many opportunities, including the chance to meet President George W. Bush and Governor Arnold Schwartzenegger. I recently went through a career change and decided to return to school and finish my degree. After I finish my BA, I am planning on going back to DC to get my Master's in Public Policy.
School

have been thinking of either getting my teaching credential and teaching high school government, or getting my masters in Public Policy Administration and going to work as a consultant in the legislature.
Workplace
The best part of my job was that I was able to meet the most interesting people and travel to different parts of the state that I would never have normally gone to. I have volunteered for many state campaigns including the Recall. I will hopefully be running a few after I get my degree.
