Kathe's Story
After SHS I went to Miami University (Ohio) but quit during the second semester and went to Berkeley Secretarial which used to be on Maple Avenue behind White Plains Hospital. From there I worked for McKinsey & Company, Inc. both on Park Ave in NYC and Pennsylvania Ave in DC. Took 4 years off to mother my son. Got divorced in the mid 70's and went to work for Sun Banks of Florida in Orlando and stayed there for 20 years. I worked over 60 hours per week and ended up with three heart attacks in 1991 and became officially disabled in 1998 with Medicare and SSI. After bunches ...Expand for more
of diseases including flesh eating bacteria (necrotyzing facyitis) in my mid-section, and back surgery i'm all but crippled. My son, now 40, is making a home for me in his home with his 12 and 7 year old children and himself. I won't be alone anymore (have lived alone since 1987 when my son went off to join the Navy). He's the son of Evan Parker Davis III who some of you might know from Edgemont High School or Hackley School. We were married from '67 to '75. I'm now in Liberty Township near Hamilton in Ohio. Not far from Miami U. Maybe now I'll get at audit class or two.
