Katherine's Story
Left Franklin putzed around in CCNY for a while got B.A. in Sociology worked for various service organizations. Started a family and decided needed more money went back to CCNY (why they let me back I'll never know) received B.S.N. 1980 Have worked as nurse since then in hospitals and nursing homes in NYC. ribbean, now planning on seeing USA this year and next and God willing Europe, Africa and Asia in the near future.
I am now involved in the Benjamin Franklin HS Alumni Association. For the last 5 years I have involved myself with restoring the history of our school, with helping to reunite classmates and providing venues for Franklinites to communicate. It has been a rewarding adventure, one I hope to be on for a little while longer.
