Katherine's Story

Life Almost an empty nester, it's time to catch up on things like surfing, musci and life! Post High School, I was busy with careers and travel---first in travel business and second in sales and marketing. In addition, I kept out of trouble by getting my MBA. In my early-mid thirties got married to my special sweetie and had two lively girls while beginning a small add-on computer hardware and software company. This kept me out of trouble until the mid 1990's when I closed the business and ventured into finishing up other loose ends in life. I've just completed my volunteering stint, pulling off a huge event for seniors at my daughters high school. Now, I'm kicking my heels up for a few weeks, before I'm off on the wild ride of life ag...Expand for more
ain! Hope to hear from old classmates and bandmates! 2012 Update. Just retired from webmaster job that I held for 8 years, graphic work and photography. So nice to approach retirement as a six month project to see if I can figure it out or find something else of interest. The empty nesting was nice while it lasted. Youngest back here for time to get a better job...she graduated the year the market crashed. We are again looking forward to being empty nesters sometime within the year. Have begun on my bucket list...went snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef and into Cape Tribulation area. Loved Australia sill and it is beautiful. We are so luck to be living in CA with the nice beaches, etc., but without crocideles to worry about!
