Katherine's Story
Life
After college at UC San Diego, I attended medical school at UC Irvine. While there I was lucky enough to spend a year at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD as a Hughes Scholar. I love D.C. I then returned to San Francisco as a pediatric resident at UCSF. I was married in 1997 to a very sweet man who hales originally from Argentina. t now we are learning our way around. We have two children, Matthew age 8 and Michaela, age 6. I began my own practice three years ago in Scarsdale, and now have 2 other pediatricians working with me. I also run the clinic that serves the children in foster care in Westchester County. My husband won a grant from the NIH and is persuing his dream of making his patented vaccine invention a reality. I will always miss CA and the Bay Area; someday I hope to move west again.
