Katherine's Story
I just realized I never wrote a story to go along with my profile. I've been happily married to only one man for almost 40 years on July 3rd, we've had 4 children, we have 4 grandchildren and love being grandparents. After marrying I lived on Guam for 2 years, back to Calif. and then back to Mi, living in Redford Twp and then moving to Lapeer, MI, where my oldest son still lives and works. He is a Sgt. with the Lapeer Police Depart. there, married with 2 children. We moved in the late 80's, early 90's to San Jose, CA and where we currently reside. Our other 3 children (one handcapped adult son lives in Sonoma, CA), another son lives in San Jose and our married daughter lives in Milpitas, CA a few miles away with her 2 children. time to time enjoyed working for United Air Lines in both Mich. and in San Francisco, CA and as a Transportation Security Officer (with Homeland Security). I went to Mott Comm. College after graduating RHS along with West Valley College and Diablo College where I enjoyed taking Social Work and Psychology classes. Through the years I've also maintained my Real Estate License and have gone to School for that as well. I am a Christian since the age of 15 years old and love ministering to others. I've been on several mission trips, including Paraquay and Africa! I've had the opportunity to travel extensively literally around the world. Currently I am living in Poland, since October 2010 and will be returning home to my horse Savanah (she is so sweet) and my dog a German Shepherd named Luke.
