Life
My Spouse
Bill and I met in Belmont during college. Bill has a Masters in Education from UNC-CH and has taught high school and now teaches for Gaston College in Gastonia, NC. He teaches off campus at Dallas Prison. He teaches inmates life skills and many advance to the GED test.
We have been married since 1968 and have two daughters. Bill is an avid Jazz fan.
My Pets
Mercer is the male side of Mable,Mercer. The female died a while back. He is about ten years old. Over the years we have had several cats and one dog.
My Kids
Julia, the eldest (31), is a Master of Arts in Teaching from Duke University, Durham, NC. She taught high school in Edenton, NC for 5 years. She now works for Duke Medical Services in Durham teaching adult associates the comp...Expand for more

Dorothy is 30 years old, lives in California. She has had some college-- graduated from College of the Redwoods,Eureka, CA w/associate degree. She has a health problem; i.e., she is a drug abuser/user. She has one child, our only grand child, Kaila. Kaila lives with her Dad in Minnesota and she is soon to be 6 years old.
My Job
I work for a company that owns and manages a 22-story office building in Charlotte, NC. As the management company, we deal one-on-one daily with the tenants, 5,000 of which are Bank of America associates. The job is varied, ranging from listening to complaints/requests for work to be done to doing minor accounting and major secretarial work.
