Katherine's Story
Where has the time gone? During high school, I dated Lee Jones off and on. When we graduated I started working right away at AAA Insurance. Lee and I got engaged at 19. He went into the Army and we went our separate ways. I married and moved to Morgan Hill to raise my family (1 son). Lee married and raised his family (2 sons) in Santa Clara. I worked various jobs and in 1985 went to work for IBM. After 18 years, they sold our divi...Expand for more
sion to Hitachi and then they sold our division to Western Digital. I retired in January after 29 years. And Lee? He and his wife had divorced but stayed in Santa Clara. After I left my husband, Lee and I reconnected on classmates.com. Who would have thought that 35 years later, we would get back together. We had a very full life enjoying our 7 grandkids (another one due in August 2015). Sadly, Lee passed away on February 26, 2015.
