Kathie's Story

Life Hi Classmates! Here's me in a nutshell! After a year at Brooks College in Long Beach, I met my husband, Chris, in 1973 in Hawaii, where I was vacationing with Cathy Zilz. Chris is Canadian and was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. We were married in 1978 and lived for 8 years in British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. Our daughter, Britany, was born in 1982 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan!...Expand for more
We moved back to Calif. in 1986 because we were tired of shoveling snow! Our daughter, Britany, graduated from Beaumont High School in 2000. I became a grandma of the most beautiful little girl in June, 2006. Her name is Ella. My second granddaughter, Kinsley was born in 2018. I am retired from Banning Unified School District (the opposition!) where I was superintendent's secretary for 18 years.
