Kathie's Story
Life
Hi Friends....Bill and I have been married all of my life! Since Dec. 1961. So when we celebrate our class reunion we also celebrat that many years of marriage. We have 3 daughters and 1 son. All on their own now. They have given us life's greatest gift. Nine Grandchildren.
We have lived in Portland Oregon, where we were married, Marshall, Waterloo,Sun Prairie,Stetsonville, back to Sun Prairie, and now back to Marshall,Wisconsin. Looking for a retirement place now. Who knows where that may be. We spent most of our lives with the military. The Air Force full time for 4 years and the Wis. Air National Guard full time for 35 years. Also, lived on a farm most of that time.We have had almost every farm animal there is. Farming was not my favorit part of life. And there will be no pig, cows, chickes, or turkeys in my heaven. The past 20 years or so we have raised pure bread dogs. Staring with Hungarina Vizslas. Then Black Labs,Yellow Labs, and most recently English Springer Spaniels.
Puppy anyone? We now are down to a 7 acre place and are looking to downsize that. The house is...Expand for more
too big and the lawn is too much to care for any more. We have 40 acres of woods in northern Wis....Gordon.....that has been the hunting grounds for the deer hunters for the past....forever.....maybe 30 years.Now Bill is thinking we need to retire there. I don't think so. Southern Wis is cold enough for me.
We have been fortunate enough to have visited almost all of the 48 states. Would love to see Alaska but Hawaii seems more for the bikini size people. : < )

2007...Here it is almost 2008 and we missed our 45th class reunion. Everyone was to busy to put any effort in to it. So, we have 4 years to get our plans together for out big 50 year reunion. Let's start planning now. How about a cruise during the summer or coordinated with Homecoming that year. I will do everything I to get it started if I get enough interest. Let me know, lets not miss another one. We have lost too many classmates already and who knows who will still be here in 2011.
