Kathleen's Story
Life
August 2007 - Not much has changed - Still single - Have 12 grandchildren (got 3 free when daughter married a man who already had children) I live in Pelican Point in Moses Lake - Spend most of my time enjoying my children and grandchildren - I spoil my most loyal friend, my dachshund named Odin. My granddaugter Hope, who is 5 asked if Odin came out of my tummy? Maybe I spoil him a little too much! DeeAnne Robbins Anderson lives down the road a few houses so that is fun. I am very content with my life and enjoying middle age. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at out next reunion.
I keep in touch with a few old classmates. I talked to Mike May a few months ago. He was getting married and relocating. I see Ellen Hebdon occasionally and DeAnne Anderson all the time.
I would love to know where Pam Anderson is. Four of us 69ers had lunch a few years back and I haven't heard from her since.
If my math is correct we should be having a 40th reunion. Who is in charge and are you starting to plan? Last reunion was so fun I hope this one is as great (although Mike Brown if you can't...Expand for more
make it don't worry about it).
Update 7/3/12:: I was widowed in 2001 when I lost the love of my life. My beloved dachshund "Odin" passed away and I now have two little new companions, 2 more dachshunds. We live as a happy little family! Because I have 6 children I am constantly on the move. I have been spending most of my time in Hermiston, OR where my oldest son is going through a very nasty divorce. His wife got hooked on drugs and overdosed, so my son has emergency cusotody of the three children (10, 8, 2). I am down there most of the time as the little ones love living in their own home instead of 14 hours at care takers.
I am disabled from a back injury and am in constant pain. I strongly feel service to my children is my calling at this time. When I do get a chance to be home I spend all my time resting and waiting for the next call. I pray all the time and I know GOD has given me the strength to do this desperately needed service. I love my Savior and am so thankful for the help and energy He gives me. He knows me personally and knows my needs. How grateful and blessed I am.
