My Spouse
While a graduate student in Mainz, Germany, I met my husband, Hermann Neidlinger, who was a chemistry student.
My Pets
A black lab and four cats: Furball, Izzy (short for Isabel), Mr. T and Pearl.
My Kids
Petra (35) works at Genentech as coordinator for clinical trials, Karen (29)is an IT specialist in Sacramento, and Erik (26)
How I relax: Playing piano keyboard, quilting, blogging
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have a keyboard, Starbucks, and nice co-workers to be able to deal with the day-to-day.

ow-moving breast cancer. My husband, myself and and 3 children lived in Silicon Valley, CA--now retired t Arizona.. I got lots of education in the field of German --B.A.--Univerity of Washington (WA) MA. Middlebury College. Vermont) and Ph.D. from Stanford University (1976). I taught English as a foreign language at a large university in Slovakia (part of Czechoslovakia then) , English at University of Southern Mississippi, etrc. From 1009 until 2004 I had a consulting business in San Jose, CA which raised money for homeless shelters, food programs, etc. Well--what a ild and crazy ride it has been!!!~
